Please remember to read with your child for twenty minutes a night. Every Friday there will be spelling tests so remember to study.
The daily schedule is:
8:40-9:00- calendar, attendance, and morning message.
9:00-10:00- math lesson, independent practice, and math centers.
10:30-11:00- phonemic awareness, grammar, spelling, and high frequency words.
11:00-11:45-independant practice, guided reading groups, and language arts centers.
First graders go to Mrs. Marchini, and second graders come to Mrs. Rios.1
2:50-1:05-journal writing.
1:05-1:30review grammar/writing.
1:30-2:00-read story and work on comprehension strategies
2:15-3:00-science/history art.
